I just watched the first Kiko cartoon. It didn't make much sense -and it was silent, but funny. I NEVER saw Kiko back when Farmer Alfalfa (Grey, Brown...) was on channel 11 in my area back in the 50's when I was a kid. There was a narrator who sometimes commented on the nonsense going on (scrubbing the ground into mud !) but no Kiko.
One day, channel 11 did NOT tune in and my mother switched the set to the Mickey Mouse Club and I watched that ever since. Thus this was the FIRST Farmer Alfalfa I have seen since that long-ago day.
